LGBTQ+ & HIV Care
Primary care where you do not have to explain who you are
INcircle Health provides comprehensive, informed care for LGBTQ+ patients, including preventive care, sexual health, PrEP, HIV treatment, chronic conditions, and everyday primary care.
Care led by Dr. Juan Carlos Venis, a credentialed HIV Specialist with experience in LGBTQ+ and sexual health.
Inclusive care backed by clinical experience
Feeling respected matters, but respect alone is not enough. Patients also deserve a physician who understands the clinical details of LGBTQ+ health, sexual health, HIV prevention, medication access, screening, and the ways identity and life experience may affect care.
Care topics
Informed care for the LGBTQ+ community
Comprehensive primary care
Preventive care, acute concerns, chronic conditions, mental health, medication management, and care coordination. Care is tailored to the lives and needs of LGBTQ+ patients by a physician expert.
HIV prevention, Sexual and reproductive health
Evaluation for daily oral PrEP, injectable PrEP, event-driven PrEP when appropriate, routine monitoring, and support navigating medication access. Routine STI screening, symptom evaluation, treatment, site-specific testing when appropriate, and discussion of prevention options such as doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis when clinically appropriate.
HIV treatment
Ongoing HIV treatment integrated with primary care, preventive health, screening, medication management, and coordination with specialists when needed.
Gender-affirming and identity-informed care
Respectful primary care that considers anatomy, medications, identity, preventive needs, and individual goals without making assumptions. Informed consent gender-affirming hormone treatment is offered to adult patients when appropriate.

Long-acting injection options available
Freedom from the daily pill.
Whether you're taking PrEP to prevent HIV or receiving treatment for HIV, long-acting injectable medications may offer a more convenient option. As an HIV Specialist (AAHIVS), Dr. Venis helps patients compare every option—including daily pills and injectable therapies—to find the approach that best fits their life, not just their lab results.
How this approach is different
You are more than one diagnosis or identity
HIV care, PrEP, sexual health, mental health, metabolic health, and routine prevention should not be separated from the rest of your care. INcircle Health brings these needs together within one ongoing primary care relationship.
